The Forex Association of Malaysia narrowly retained the championship cup at the biennial Singapore-Malaysia Forex games. The Malaysian team took the title for the fifth time running, winning three of the five events--darts, football, golf, bowling and badminton. Around 60 members of the Singapore Financial Markets Association travelled to Kuala Lumpur for the one-day event and many stayed on for the rest of the weekend's social programme. The return match will be held in Singapore in 2000.
