New Zealand Gets Second e-FX Service

INTERNET NEWS

WELLINGTON--New Zealand got its second internet foreign exchange service last week as National Bank of New Zealand launched online FX trading for its corporate clients.

Nigel Williams, treasurer and director of e-commerce at the National said the service would free up the bank’s forex traders time. "DirectDeal is not a replacement for traders," he says.

"Rather it is an additional way of doing business. We think it is important to give clients a choice about which service they use and when."
