Commerzbank Treasurer Says Forex Earnings Strong In 1992

Executives at Frankfurt-based Commerzbank, which was expected to report detailed annual results for 1992 at the end of last week, say the bank had a very good year in foreign exchange trading. In what was a generally a bad year for the bottom lines of many European banks, Commerzbank also reported a strong improvement in net profits, which rose to DM837.8 million from DM547.1 million in 1991.
