First Chicago Opens In Singapore To Boost Customer Forex Business

First Chicago's new trading room in Singapore will open for trading on November 18 and will be headed by Kent Smith, says global FX manger Peter Mesrobian.
Smith, who has been with First Chicago's FX operation in various positions, comes most recently from its Hong Kong branch to head Singapore's operation as treasury manager.
Other hires for the new room, which will ultimately be six-strong, include Andy Shum as a spot trader, Peter Scully in sales and a forward trader who has yet to be named
