British Banks To Pare Spending On Dealing Room Technology

A survey of British financial institutions carried out in June by the Confederation of British Industry and the financial consulting firm, Coopers Lybrand Deloitte, shows that banks in Britain will continue to spend heavily on information technology, but a spokeswoman said that within this category dealing room technology expenditure is being slashed.
