Chase Manhattan Focuses On Regionals Gears Up Separate FX Desk In London


Chase Manhattan Bank is planning to beef up its efforts to serve regional banks in the U.K. and Continental Europe, officials at the bank say. The plan underlines Chase's commitment to service and attract regional bank foreign exchange business, following its decision to set up a foreign exchange desk in New York to deal exclusively with regional banks.

In fact, Benoit Jadoul, Chase vice president, marketing, says servicing regional banks is now one of the bank's priorities. He notes that the
