Average age of dealers rising

LONDON/NEW YORK -- The average age of dealers in the world’s foreign exchange markets is going up, market participants have told FX Week.

A mixture of macro events in the financial services industry and forex-specific moves is responsible for the trend. But while banks may be in trouble if they do not restaff with younger dealers soon, the trend is not altogether bad news, they added.
