
Reuters To Begin Globex "Client Site" Tests Matif’s Pfauwadel Breathes Sigh Of Relief

Reuters Holding PLC’s Globex after-hours electronic trading project with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, long delayed for both technical and political reasons, will finally begin "client-site" interactive testing at the end of the first quarter of 1991.
The test will be conducted for a month and will involve about 250 Globex terminals in New York, Chicago and London. If the tests are successful, Reuters announced, Globex will be launched shortly thereafter. Interestingly, the announcement
