Barclays De Zoete Wedd Replaces Global Forex Chief Mazloumian

Despite what one foreign exchange executive describes as "record earnings" in the past year, all does not appear to be well at Barclays de Zoete Wedd (BZW), the now-combined capital markets and treasury division of Barclays Bank. Treasury officials at the bank have confirmed that foreign exchange director Steven Mazloumian, brought in to London from the bank's Tokyo office 15 months ago, is to be replaced in mid-September by Humphrey Percy, the 35-year-old head of BZW's swaps group.
