Icap announces active trading in 2002

LONDON -- Interdealer broker Icap said it had experienced "active trading" in all wholesale financial markets during the first three months of 2002, in a pre-financial-year-end statement issued in March. "Icap has benefitted from its strong position and broad coverage of those markets," the company said.
Electronic broking, including Icap’s options business, which was integrated with online platform Volbroker in December, continues to expand, Icap said, while North American businesses continue
