Merita Bank of Finland became an official primary dealer in the Swedish forex market from October 1, says Jussi Laitinen, executive vice president at Merita in Helsinki. As an official primary dealer, a bank is committed to make markets in FX spot and forwards from 8:30 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. local time. This latest addition brings to 11 the number of international banks which act as primary dealers in the Swedish forex market.
