CSFB Expands Global Forex Group But Eschews Active Market Making
NON-BANKS
CS First Boston's global foreign exchange group is still expanding, although director Marc Hotimsky says that with a recent round of senior appointments, the group is close to its optimum staffing with about 40 people worldwide. CSFB has been advertising for salespeople and currency options traders recently.
"We don't need to expand with tons of people," says Hotimsky. "But we do intend to make a few key hires here and there. While there has been an upgrade, numbers have been reasonably stable."
