
Tantus Poll Reveals Flaws In CAD Implementation

Among the major findings in the latest 1996 Tantus Treasury Management survey is that more than half of those polled say they have "little or no" involvement in the banks' management of the all-important Capital Adequacy Directive (CAD), which is due to be implemented this year (FXW, May 3, 1993). The survey of treasury managers also highlights a strong belief that electronic trading may "kill off" the traditional broker and lead to staff downsizing, says the Tantus report.
