Monetary policy key for Norway trades

Stein Gulbrandsen, head of institutional sales at Den Norske Bank in Oslo, said uncertainty about government policy and a reasonable level of volatility have attracted an increase in volumes of trade in the currency. He said: "There has been increased demand from hedge funds, global banks and real money accounts for the krone and this pick-up in trading has been reflected in deeper levels of liquidity seen on Reuters and other platforms."
