The UK-based emerging markets specialist won first place in nine of 32 currency categories, including three of the 10 cross-currency swaps awards, and four of eight for currency options.
JP Morgan Chase, however, swept the board in non-deliverable forwards, winning all three sections in this category.
John Tan, head of trading for Asia at Standard Chartered in Hong Kong, said the bank is focused on being a consistent player in the interbank market in order to transact customer trades efficiently
