Alex Gerko and his team triumph again
In foreign exchange markets, the name Alex Gerko has been synonymous with GSA Capital for more than five years. From July 1, however, Gerko span out of the hedge fund that was home to his FX market-making operation and rebranded itself as XTX Markets.
The amicable spin-off was announced in February, but Gerko and his team continued to operate their service in the interim, transitioning clients gradually to the XTX platform. He has since made several key hires and announced an intention to boost
