e-FX Awards short list 2015
There was one category in this year's awards where not a single institution put their hands up. Not a single one. The category is of course the Best bank liquidity provider award, which in previous years enjoyed booming popularity - until regulatory investigations recalibrated banks' appetite to be seen to be the biggest player in the market.
The shift is a long way from five years ago, when all and sundry had ambitions to become the next FX supermarket for all and everyone.
