Fennessy joins RBC as FX sales director

He leaves Citi after 11 years

Matt Fennessy has joined RBC Capital Markets in London as a director of FX sales, leaving his role as a director at Citi.

In his new position, Fennessy will focus on growing RBC's European footprint to ensure more encompassing coverage between European, North American and Asian time zones for multinational clients, a spokesperson for RBC told FX Week.

He will report to Alex Price, head of corporate FX sales, Emea.

Before joining RBC this month, Fennessy worked at Citi for 11 years in a variety
