EBS says it has signed up 15 customers in one year to its Liquidity Optimization tool, which targets regional banks, as the algorithms allow smaller institutions to move away from being clients and to make prices efficiently.

EBS Liquidity Optimization allows these regional firms to maintain their relationships with other banks that supply them liquidity, while leveraging the strength of their own regional franchises to become prominent players in their local currencies.
