EBS Direct suffers outage, trades unmatched overnight
Relationship-based platform experiences technical problems
Relationship-based currency trading platform EBS Direct has suffered an outage in Asian hours on Thursday, leaving trades unmatched in the system and affecting both liquidity providers and liquidity takers, a person familiar with the matter told FX Week.
An EBS spokesperson confirmed that the glitch occured and said the operational issue has been resolved before London trading kicked off. The outage did not affect its EBS Market platform.
