Foreign exchange ticks all the boxes, says StanChart markets chief

Foreign exchange is an increasingly crucial component of a successful capital markets business as a result of regulatory changes that are forcing higher costs for more complex and risky derivatives, according to Lenny Feder, group head of financial markets within the wholesale banking business at Standard Chartered.

Speaking in a keynote address at the FX Week Asia conference in Singapore this morning, Feder, who is also co-chair of the Singapore Foreign Exchange Market Committee, said FX now
