Restructuring of business lines within investment banks is nothing new in the wake of the financial crisis, but Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking (SG CIB) has been through a fairly seismic set of changes to its fixed-income and currencies (Fic) business this year as a number of previously separate units have been brought together under the new Fic umbrella.
