CBA nears completion of three-year tech overhaul


Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) is on track to complete a wide-sweeping upgrade of the technology supporting its foreign exchange business this year, and has wrapped up a major part of the project in recent weeks, officials at the bank have told FX Week.

The so-called Project Falcon, which was initiated in 2009, includes the implementation of a number of systems to cover trading, order management and risk management with the help of several technology vendors, including Murex and Wall
