FX Week's annual FX Week Europe conference took place on December 1 at the Landmark Hotel in London and attracted more than 300 delegates.
The day began with a keynote address from Paul Downie, head of liquidity and foreign exchange at oil and gas company Royal Dutch Shell. Speaking before a packed conference room, Downie relayed his experience of trialling foreign exchange algorithmic execution tools from a number of banks over the past year.
