Thomson Reuters success hinged on bullish sterling stance

Thomson Reuters – IFR Markets topped this week's three-month currency forecast rankings with an accurate prediction of the medium-term effects of the currency volatility that has characterised the early part of 2011.

On January 21, Thomson Reuters predicted GBP/USD would rise from 1.59 to 1.63 in three months' time, which turned out to accurately reflect the opening and closing spot rate on April 18.
