Standard Chartered talks Turkey
The forex desk has been established to strengthen the bank's position in the Turkish rates and FX market, StanChart said. The desk will be run by Noyan Ayhan in Dubai, who joined the bank in September 2010 as head of Turkey rates and FX trading (FX Week, September 13, 2010). Ayhan reports locally to Nafees Akbarali, Standard Chartered's head of fixed income, currencies and commodities trading for the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) and global head of G-10 rates trading.
