Barnes bows out of RBS

Barnes is leaving the London office on August 27 for a one-year sabbatical, a year after being promoted to global head of foreign exchange. He reports locally to Peter Rading and Michael Lyublinsky, co-heads of fixed income, currencies and commodities. The bank said: "We look forward to him returning to the bank in a new role next year."

RBS confirmed his replacement as Tim Carrington, who will join in early September, based in London. Carrington will report locally to Rading and Lyublinsky. He
