Citi hires Margolis from Goldman Sachs
It has been speculated that Margolis is to replace Nick Downes, former head of FX sales to banks for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), based in London. If so, Margolis will most likely report to Bruno Widmer in Zurich, global head of FX bank sales, according to market sources.
Margolis joins from Goldman Sachs in London, where he was an executive director, selling to banks in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Benelux and Israel (FX Week, March 8). He reported locally to Jeroen Rombouts
