Anselmetti takes up BarCap offer

Andrea Anselmetti has left Goldman Sachs, after weeks of rumour and speculation as to whether the investment bank would be able to retain him.

The London-based co-head of foreign exchange sales left last week and is heading to Barclays Capital, according to market sources. He is thought to be replacing Richard Longmore, Barclays Capital's former head of institutional FX sales, who left in March (FX Week, March 23).
