
HSBC names FX operations chief

HSBC announced the appointment of Sean Rochford as global head of foreign exchange operations in London, on March 2.
Rochford will partner closely with the global FX business to build capacity for the planned FX expansion, read an internal memo. He will also work to strengthen the bank’s franchise by supporting strategic client initiatives such as FX prime services and electronic trading.
