LONDON – Standard Chartered has lost a key member of its foreign exchange bank sales desk, market sources have told FX Week.

Oliver Jerome, global head of bank sales for FX, rates and commodities at Standard Chartered, resigned last week.

Jerome, a managing director, reported to London-based Adam Freeman, head of sales for Europe and the Americas (FX Week, March 16, 2009). He is tipped to be joining Morgan Stanley in mid-May to work in bank sales, according to market sources.
