Wells Fargo: Watch USD triumph in 2010

media/download/17741Wells Fargo topped the three-month currency forecast rankings by viewing the USD weakness as cyclical rather than structural and expecting a USD bounce by year end.

Nick Bennenbroek, head of currency strategy at Wells Fargo in New York, puts the dollar strength down to interest rate futures expectations moving in favour of the USD at the end of 2009. The shift was based on improving US data such as the November US non-farm payrolls report showing unemployment rates dropping
