Standard Chartered cranks it up in FX

SINGAPORE & NEW YORK – Standard Chartered has made two hires in the US and Asia as it continues to build up its foreign exchange businesses, markets sources tell FX Week.

Jason Crank, currently on gardening leave, will join as a senior FX spot trader in New York in the new year, according to market sources in the city. Crank will report locally to Patrick McInerney, chief dealer in FX spot.

Crank joins the bank from the US offices of Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), where he was also a senior FX
