Informa: US dollar will fight back in 2010

 

Informa has topped this week's one- and three-month currency forecast rankings by holding a short-term bearish view on the US dollar.

Jeremy Boulton, manager of foreign exchange fundamentals at Informa in London, said the firm was initially inspired to a more bearish opinion of the dollar over the summer when the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) broke above 9,000 in July. "This acted as a spur for us to lower our one and three-month expectations for the dollar," he said.

Boulton said
