Citi's Bogota domestic settlement up 60%

BOGOTA - Citi's Bogota-based domestic settlement system reported more than 60% growth in volumes and values settled in the first quarter compared with Q1 2008, indicating widespread adoption of the service.

The system settled 5,037 trades valued at $3.26 billion last quarter, with March and February representing the two busiest months since September and November last year. Last month, the system settled 1,712 trades with a value of $1.14 billion, while in February, 1,768 trades worth $1.11
