Swiss bank aims to provide clients with access to digital assets

SEBA aims to build a bank offering cryptocurrency services

Swiss private bank Julius Baer has announced it is to collaborate with Swiss crypto start-up firm SEBA to provide the bank’s clients with access to digital assets.

The move follows an early-stage minority equity investment in SEBA by the Swiss bank in the second half of 2018.

The partnership between the two firms will take effect once SEBA receives its banking and securities dealer’s licence from Swiss prudential regulator Finma. When the partnership takes effect, Julius Baer plans to extend
