CME to launch six monthly contracts for FX futures

The Chicago-based marketplace will offer contracts for AUD, GBP, CAD, EUR, JPY and EUR/GBP from February 27

CME Group plans to expand its foreign exchange offering with the launch of six monthly contracts for FX futures at the end of February.

The new contracts will be based on six currency pairs – the Australian dollar, sterling, the Canadian dollar, euro, Japanese yen and EUR/GBP – which are currently offered quarterly.
