Sakura Bank is beefing up its foreign exchange trading operation in London with two senior hires, including its first proprietary trader, says FX manager Richard MacDonald. Sakura has been upgrading its FX and capital markets group in London since April, when BZW colleagues MacDonald and Dennis Rooke (previously BZW's global FX and money markets chief) joined the bank to lead the effort (FXW, April 8).
