SEB reclaims Scandi award after a one-year hiatus

The Swedish krona has been caught in a challenging corner for much of 2013; it has continued to gain ground against both the euro and the US dollar as concerns over economic weakness have pushed safe-haven flows to the Nordics. But the currency's strength has been bad news for Swedish corporates, particularly large exporters. Telecommunications giant Ericsson attributed a 3% drop in net sales during the third quarter to the strength of the krona.

But it's not all doom and gloom for Swedish firms
