Hunter Burton Capital launches new FX fund

The income fund will focus on short-term market volatility

Sydney-based Hunter Burton Capital is a global macro-currency fund

Following a strong year for its Alpha Fund, Sydney-based, global macro-currency fund Hunter Burton Capital (HBC) is launching a foreign exchange-only fund.

The HBC Income Fund will have a shorter-term focus than its alpha counterpart, as it seeks to capitalise on market volatility and generate consistent returns with a lower risk profile.

The fund is targeting annual returns of 8–10%. Its investments will focus on the free-floating currencies of developed nations to avoid the type of shocks
