Bank Of America Restructures Upper Echelon With Doherty Capital Markets Global Head

In a major shift of strategy, Bank of America (BofA) has centralised its four existing capital markets groups, which includes FX trading, under a single head in the newly-created Global Capital Markets Group, based in San Francisco. The new group is headed by executive vice president Gerald Doherty, who most recently was BofA's head of European capital markets based in London.

Under the new approach, the four capital markets heads in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Latin America/Canada will all report
