FX Markets is proud to announce the winners of the e-FX Awards for 2025. The roll of honour can be found below – we would like to congratulate all the firms on their achievements.

The awards recognise firms that have proven themselves in electronic foreign exchange trading, whether that’s as a liquidity, prime brokerage and overlay provider; algo builder; trading venue; market infrastructure and software provider; or data vendor.

This year, the awards spanned 35 categories and attracted nearly 140 entries – a new record – of which 28 categories were awarded. It also included several new categories, including FX Markets’ first buy-side awards. The winners were announced at a dinner in London on November 13.

The wins were largely spread out, however some banks took home multiple awards. Barclays picked up two in the liquidity provider category – FX forwards/swaps and for corporates – while Deutsche Bank landed two for best LP for financial institutions and best FX algo provider. State Street also won best FX overlay provider and best outsourced FX trading solution.

In the venue categories, 360T, Digital Vega and CME retained their wins in the best forwards/swaps, FX options and exchange categories respectively. For the technology categories, Quod Financial, smartTrade Technologies, 4OTC, New Change FX and Tradefeedr were also winners.

Choosing winners is never an easy task. Entrants submitted written pitches and the final decisions were made by a panel of judges, which included FX Markets’ editors, weighing a number of factors including strategic clarity, growth, risk management discipline, innovation and adaptability, thought leadership, and a commitment to investing in the business.

If decisions were tight, client feedback helped settle the issue. Categories that did not receive sufficient entries were scrapped.

Judges were not allowed to contribute to categories where there may be conflicts of interest. FX Markets would like to thank all entrants for the time and effort they put into the process. Thanks also to our judging panel, who are listed below.
